The Meadows Foodbank & Pantry
A community where no one goes hungry
The meadows foodbank
The Meadows Foodbank is a Trussell Trust foodbank, and is one of the largest foodbanks in the Nottinghamshire area. We provide 3-day emergency food relief parcels for those in need. Our opening times are Tuesdays 5.30 – 7.30pm, Fridays 10am – 12noon and Saturdays 11am – 1pm.
Anyone is welcome to drop into our sessions for a hot drink and a chat, but to get a food parcel, you will need an official foodbank voucher from one of our registered charity partners. To find out more about the agencies/charities who can issue these vouchers, please see our Visit-Us page.
Once you have been issued with a voucher, you can bring this voucher to the foodbank and exchange it for a food parcel. Most Fridays we are also supported by a fantastic team from Bestwood Advice Centre, who can provide support and guidance on benefits, housing, debt and welfare issues.
The meadows pantry shop
The Meadows Pantry shop is open for registered local members only every Thursday 10am-12noon, and 1-2pm.
Members pay £5 per week and can choose for themselves a basket of products which include ambient, fresh, chilled and frozen food.
For more information on becoming a member of the Meadows Pantry, please see their website Nottingham Meadows Pantry
